Sometimes all you need is a little sunshine, a lot of guac, and absolutely no responsibilities. My best friend and I recently booked a spontaneous girls weekend at the Sheraton Grand Los Cabos—and it was everything we didn’t know we needed.

The Sheraton has five pools (yes, FIVE), so there was zero competition for loungers and plenty of chances to perfect our tans. The main infinity pool overlooks the ocean and gives serious postcard vibes.
Looking for something more social? Head to the swim-up bar. We found a rowdy, super fun group and quickly dubbed it the “party pool.” Good drinks, loud laughs, zero judgment.
Pro tip: Get the mango margarita. You’re welcome.
🍽️ Resort Dining That Delivers
Not in the mood to leave the resort? Totally fair. The Sheraton Grand has five restaurants and four bars, and we made it our personal mission to try as many as possible.
Our favorite? Tomatoes—an open-air restaurant with ocean views, themed nights, and a breakfast buffet that made waking up early actually worth it.

We ventured off-property one afternoon for some next-level relaxation at The Sand Bar, a beachfront restaurant with an upstairs spa lounge.
Picture this: waves crashing, salty breeze, someone massaging all the work-week stress away.
Afterward, we grabbed shrimp tacos downstairs, ate in silence, and agreed it was one of the best meals of the trip.
😎 The Art of Doing Absolutely Nothing
Some of our favorite memories had nothing to do with plans.
- Ordering room service in robes
- Falling asleep by the pool (twice)
- Living in swimsuits
- Eating way too much ceviche
- Pretending we didn’t know what Wi-Fi was
Honestly? That’s the dream.
We left Los Cabos with glowing tans, full hearts, and a group chat loaded with new inside jokes
