My best friend and I recently spent a long weekend soaking up the sun, pool lounging and sipping on margaritas at the Sheraton Grand Los Cabos. The resort was the perfect location to get some much-needed rest and relaxation. If you are looking for the perfect south of the border weekend getaway, consider taking a trip to Los Cabo.
Working on your tan? The Sheraton Grand offered 5 pools, plenty of sun loungers and speedy poolside service. The resorts main pool is a stunning infinity pool overlooking the ocean. There is also one pool on the property with a swim-up bar. My friend and I met a fun and outgoing group of vacationers at this pool and we immediately dubbed it the “party pool”.
Don’t feel like leaving the resort? The Sheraton Grand offers 5 restaurants and 4 onsite bars. Tomatoes, an open-air restaurant with an ocean view is located in the center of the resort and offered themed nights and a mimosa breakfast buffet. Their Mexican night was a create your own taco bar with all the traditional fixin’s. My friend and I dined alfresco and enjoyed a performance of traditional Mexican singing and dancing.
In need of a massage? We decided to venture off the property and headed for The Sand Bar, a beachfront restaurant with an upstairs lounge offering massage and pedicure services. After a relaxing beachside massage, we dined on tasty shrimp tacos.
Our weekend trip south of the border provided the perfect environment to unwind. We were openly lazy ordering room service, sleeping by the pool, and stuffing ourselves with freshly made guacamole and chowing down on some tasty ceviche. I came home with a stunning tan craving just a few more days of living in my swimsuit, limited wifi, and no need to check a work email.
Thank you, Los Cabos for a relaxing fun filled weekend!
