No Passport Needed: One Magical Night at The Shrine with Ludovico Einaudi

I didn’t board a plane this weekend, but I still landed somewhere truly dreamy. On Saturday night, I treated myself to a solo date and finally experienced Ludovico Einaudi live. He’s on tour for his latest album, The Summer Portraits, and from the moment the lights dimmed and the first piano note floated across the auditorium, I felt transported. The Shrine became its own little universe, soft amber lights, hushed awe, and the gentle hum of anticipation.

When he played Pathos—my favorite piece—my heart completely melted. I teared up (okay, cried a little) because hearing it live turned something I loved into something I felt. And just when I thought the night couldn’t get any better, he closed the show with Experience. The crowd began clapping along, guided by his hands, and as the energy built, he transitioned seamlessly into Experience (Reprise). The entire room was alive, united in rhythm, joy, and pure magic. It felt like one of those rare moments everyone will remember

There’s a special kind of freedom in taking yourself out solo. I wore my favorite dress, embraced the room’s energy, and let the music wash over me without distraction. As a traveler at heart, I often chase far-off places, new beaches, new skies, and new adventures. But this night reminded me that sometimes the destination is simply a feeling.

Because that’s what Travel Beach Love has always meant to me: chasing experiences that awaken you. Whether it’s the rush of ocean waves, a quiet sunrise, or a piano note that moves you to tears, travel isn’t just about where you go. It’s about how deeply you let life touch you when you get there!

Thank you, Ludovico, for a truly magical night.

Xoxo
